Hosting
This website is hosted by Alfahosting GmbH in Germany. Alfahosting processes the data generated when the site is accessed on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).
Server logs
When you visit the site, the server stores technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time and the page requested. This serves the secure operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The IP address is anonymised after 24 hours, and the logs are deleted after 7 days at the latest.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set any cookies and does not store anything on your device. We do not use any analytics, advertising or tracking services and do not load any content from third-party servers unless you start a trailer (see Trailers).
Fonts
All fonts are stored on our own server. No data is transmitted to font providers.
Trailers
Trailers are embedded from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). They are only loaded when you click the play button; before that, no data is transmitted to YouTube. We use the privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). After the click, YouTube receives, among other things, your IP address and technical information about your browser and may set cookies or store data on your device. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, Section 25 (1) TDDDG). Your consent applies only to the trailer you start and is not stored by us. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future by leaving or reloading the page; you can delete data stored by YouTube in your browser. Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information is available in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we use your details only to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry concerns a contract or its initiation, otherwise our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Our emails are processed via Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin), which acts on our behalf; data may also be transferred to Microsoft in the USA, and Microsoft is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, at the latest twelve months after our last contact, unless statutory retention obligations (for example under commercial or tax law) apply.
Applications
We use application documents only for the selection process. The legal basis is the initiation of an employment relationship (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). We delete the documents no later than six months after the end of the process; this period serves to defend against possible claims under the German General Equal Treatment Act (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Longer storage takes place only with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
Submitted material
Unsolicited material is deleted or destroyed unread, see Contact.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. An email to mail@giganten.film is sufficient.
Complaints
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
